Surya Institute has hosted the Singapore & ASEAN Schools Maths Olympiad (SASMO) for Secondary Students 2011 on Saturday, September  24^th, 2011. SASMO was held in several places, such as :

1.       SuRE Center in Gading Serpong, Tangerang.

2.       SMPN 12 in Surabaya.

3.       SMP Santa Angela in Bandung.

4.       GSC in Palembang.

A total of 245 students participated in this contest.

1 student with name Jonathan Mulyawan Woenardi from SMPK IPEKA Sunter Jakarta - Grade 9, Score 25 awarded the Perfect Score Certificate and 1^st Place in ASEAN Rank.

26 students awarded the Gold Certificates and Collar Pin, with score 24 - 17.

8 students awarded the Silver Certificates and Collar Pin, with score 16 - 15.

14 students awarded the Bronze Certificates and Collar Pin, with score 14 - 13.

8 students awarded the Merit Certificates, with score 12 - 11 for Grade 7 and below.
