Surya Institute has hosted the Singapore & ASEAN Schools Maths Olympiad (SASMO) 2011 on Saturday, April  30^th, 2011. SASMO was held in several places, such as:

This year SASMO's participants with over 2661 students in P3/4 and 4017 students in P5/6 and total number of participants in ASEAN are 6678 students.

In Indonesia, SASMO's participants are 448 students in P3/4 and 571 students in P5/6 and total number of participants are 1.019 students.

1 students got the Perfect Score Award (Score = 25) for Primary 5/6 with name Michelle Bahar from Singapore International School Jakarta, Grade 5.
