Surya Institute has hosted the INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICAL KANGAROO CONTEST 2012 on Saturday, March  31^st, 2012. KANGAROO was held in several places, such as: SuRe Center – Tangerang, Eka Wijaya School – Bogor, Stamford International School – Bandung, IPH School Surabaya, SMA Karangturi – Semarang, SMPN 1 Kudus – Kudus, and Yayasan Pendidikan Jayawijaya - Papua. A total of 1.366 students have participated in this contest.

4 students in CADET Division (grade 7 & 8) achieve the Perfect Score, they are:

1.    Bimo Adityarahman Wiraputra, Grade 7, SMP Negeri 5 Bandung, Score : 150

2.    Vincent Tandya, Grade 7, SMPK Penabur Gading Serpong-Tangerang, Score : 150

3.    Feno Valentino, Grade 8, SMP Pribadi Depok, Score : 150

4.    Stacia Edina Johanna, Grade 8, SMP Kr. Petra 2 Surabaya, Score : 150
